Cinco de Mayo! Sasha! Gilbert!

It's cinco de mayo! But I am not drunk on tequila. Something wrong here. Though, for reasons I won't go into, I did have the day off, randomly. Spent it writing, and beta-ing for misscora. Got so much done, including an entire draft of a new shortfic.

Now, a year ago this week, I was in London for the first time. And actually, for the Saturday of the Bank Holiday weekend, we drove down to Brighton. Which is how I came to be walking on the pier, on the same day as alexmalfoy. But alas, we did not know each other then--just a coincidence.

All of which is to say, Happy Birthday, my dear Sasha. One present is in the mail, and one is here.

Another event of one year ago today: The prologue of EWFS went up on FA. I can't believe that was a year ago--it seems like ages ago, and it seems like yesterday.
