Remembering
Oct. 12th, 2003 11:00 amI'm going to spam you this morning and you're just going to have to accept that. But I don't think these varied things belong in one post.
Remembering Bali, and the people who lost their lives a year ago. It's good that they found the people responsible. It is not so good that two of them are happy about being martyrs. It is very good that one of them is repentant and has said so. Hugs to everyone on the list touched by the tragedy. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that you remember in your own way. Make a long post, don't make a post, it's your journal. Don't let anyone throw you by telling you they've heard about it "enough". Do as you like. It's important.
Remembering Matthew Shepard: I don't think I have any words to say about this, except that it's up to us whether he died in vain. So think about that, and don't get too complacent.
Speaking of which, I forgot to say "Happy Coming Out Day" yesterday, and Happy Thanksgiving to the Canadians! Whee turkey!
