This entry is inspired by a conversation I sort of had with Femme about a week ago, and the LJ thing, and all.

The first time I went onto LJ was trolling about in Ballyharnon's LJ. She's probably the one writer that I could possibly ever get fangirly about. (Right, please, check out Of Linen; you won't be sorry. It's the best thing I've read. Seriously.)

And I wonder, what is this fangirly thing? Blech. And I actually have to think about this now, because people I've been fans of (though hopefully not in a horrid way) are becoming more buddy-like and less just people whose stories I read and really liked.

And, with the muses thing, there are these great writers with whom I share my writing and converse and all that great Yaddo-esque stuff we're doing, and I don't feel like a dorky fan with them, although of course I am a great fan of their stuff.

And I just started four sentences in a row with, "and". Some writer.

More on this later, as I do need to figure this out, a little bit.
