You know, fuck it. I like my stories, and I don't care if no one replies to this. (Well, I care, but I'm not comparing myself to anyone, so whatever.)

Go ahead: ask my characters any question and they'll answer.

(By the way, the characters in all the smut except "The Worst Thing that Could Possibly Happen" are pretty much the EWFS characters, in case you couldn't tell.)

Anyway, questions will enncourage me to keep working on the sequel. Not that I wouldn't do that anyway, and not that this is blackmail--I just might write quicker and more cheerfully. ^_^

Hermione - what, exactly, did you see in Viktor in the first place. Not, of course, meant as an insulting question, I am really just curious as to what attracted you to him. Fame? Sort of ... skulking good looks? Something deeper? Inquiring minds want to know.

Hermione: You know, I think it really was that he saw me as I was at that moment, rather than who I had been at eleven. Ron and Harry are wonderful but it's like they live their lives with blinders on, you know? Instead of seeing what is in front of them, they see only what they expect to see. Viktor had never met me before. I think it took that to sort of slap the other boys into looking with their eyes.

NOT fame, good looks sure, but looking back I think I liked him mostly because he liked me, and I was so surprised . . .

Hermione: It is so difficult to say just one thing. None of that strength and bravery stuff, at least. He's thoughtful and kind and good without being too selfless. He knows how to live in the present, while I'm always worried about the future. He responds well to a good swift kick when he needs one. He listens but he isn't a pushover. But mostly, just, how could I not love him?

Harry: There is this Muggle song Hermione's mum used to play, that has the line: "I got my woman who knows." So I suppose that's what it is: She knows. I don't think it's any more or less complicated than that.

Hmmm, I don't really see it as an 'how cool am I' sort of meme - just a chance to get to know someone's characters better.

Weasley Wives: How does Oliver feel to be a male 'wife'? Does he feel more akin to Draco (as the other male) or to the women? Or neither? Is he comfortable?

(The how cool am I part of the programme came as some people compared the amount and rate of their response to others, and in the process pointed out that I had no responses, causing me in a fit of pique to delete this question from the post before this, sleep on it, and decide to post it after all because I decided I didn't care.)

Oliver: Hey, I'm not a wife! I mean, I may not work every day, and I look after the kids, and I run a Quidditch programme for youngsters, and I do the cooking, and . . . hrm. Okay, well, the thing is the Weasley men seem to have a thing for tomboys, yeah? I mean, Angelina's been my mate for years now, and Cho is great when she's not being overemotional, and Padma was a good strong player in her time, and really, it's more the Quidditch players versus the non Quidditch players than anything else, right? So no, it doesn't really split along male v female lines.

Padma: It is always worth it to give people a second chance. He was young and stupid, and he grew up.
Clio: And to watch her do it, not to plug, but read EWFS, which lays it all out.


Question 2:
Seamus: We were young, and so far apart, that I think physical monogamy was completely unrealistic, and would have set up expectations we could never have lived up to, and then there would have been hurt feelings and we would have broken up. Just because I kissed some guy doesn't mean I don't love Dean.
Dean: Yeah, I'd say the bearing it actually had was to release some of the pressure that having a long-distance relationship would have created. It was challenging to keep things from dropping back to just a friendship but I don't think that would have happened anyway.

Clio: Also, I'm being a bit cagey since there's a sequel planned . . . but thanks for the excellent question!
