I wish for peace

To all of you that know folks that have been shipped out or have draft-able pals: I was there twelve years ago, I know how scared you are, and I have a big, wibble-ready shoulder whenever you need me--my info is on my user page, visible to friends. As for me, the only things that will get me through this with my sanity intact are The Onion and Jon Stewart.

And to those of you doing a little unnecessary beating up of self: A selfish reaction is the only one you really can have. Don't be ashamed of that. It's human.
