This is one of the few icons I have made myself that have text on them. It's from Dodgeball and is of Jason Bateman's character, ESPN 8 ("The Ocho") Dodgeball color commentator Pepper Brooks, saying that he's shocked. I of course generally use it sarcastically. I've had a thing for Mr. Bateman since we were teens and he was on the show It's Your Move playing basically a young con artist. (Though I was never a regular watcher of Valerie's Hogan Family.)
This is a famous sign near my hometown in Maine. (Seriously, google "maine sign" and you'll see it.) The places listed are all towns in western Maine--my mother grew up in South Paris, actually. My brother lives in Poland, which of course is where the water comes from.
This is from Channel Four's Big Fat Quiz of the Year. (2008 I think?) David Mitchell and Rob Brydon won and host Jimmy Carr is telling them "congratuwelldone." I love David Mitchell and used to have rather a giant crush on him. (I never share my actual famous people crushes because I get weirded out that other people like them. I want them to be my own.) I mostly use it for the sentiment expressed in the text.
I just--what can I say? For those of you not knee-deep in Trek fandom, this little moment is from the DVD extras, but doesn't it look all shy and first date like? Karl/Bones is laughing, but there's a self-consciousness about it, and you know that Chris/Jim is beaming because he made him laugh. It is just brim full of the cuteness.
This is Quinn and Mercedes from Glee, and I ship them pretty hard. I also ship Quinn/Mercedes/Puck/Kurt in a big house of love. The Glee fandom is mostly on the Rachel/Quinn train, but "quincedes" is the little ship that could, and I just really like the characters together. Which is why I ship anything. It is my newest icon, and I'm currently writing a fic about them.
I realized a few months ago that I didn't have enough icons that weren't shippy, just girls being awesome. My favorite awesome girls are musicians, so I went searching and while I found plenty of icons of Tori Amos and Fiona Apple and some of Suzanne Vega, I had to make a bunch of my own to get any colored girls like myself. This is one of the Jill Scott icons I made. I love her natural hair here. Jill Scott is a soul singer and an excellent songwriter, and played Precious Ramotswe in The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency. It's a joyful photo, too. I adore it.

Your Kirk/Bones icon is adorbs. I just want to mess up Karl's hair and squish them both.
