Got up this morning and made taco meat (awesome) and soy ice cream (really, really, not awesome, in about 45 ways of sheer frustration before giving up and deciding the treat for myself tomorrow would be rhubarb crisp) and watched a lot of cooking shows (Aarti is such a hipster, man) and finally started writing at some point. And then I kept writing, and writing, and writing, until I'd written 6,000 words this weekend, 7,300 since Thursday.

For those of you following along with the tweets, I've just finished the ninth season proper, which means I've spent most of the weekend reading my and ignaz's recaps and will now have to fly without a net. Eight of my twelve bullets on my little outline are complete. Now it's Here Comes Julianne; watching Dancing with the Stars (especially the season she partnered with her then-bf Chuck) is going to pay off!

Thank you SO MUCH that is AWESOME. Yay, I got the timing of the start of that totally right.

I particularly hadn't seen these stories about how he and Mezhgan are cooling off, and now there's all this stuff out about how he won't marry her. That story could be faked, but you KNOW Sinitta would never talk to the press unless Simon was okay with it.

I'm pretty much convinced at this point that Simon has been in control of the Mezhgan story from the beginning. Not that I have any idea what it all means.
