Just something about all this teasing of the straight boys:

I think if someone says, "this is my sexuality" we should BELIEVE THEM. I said a great deal of this in my comments here, but honestly, ladies. If it's really that unbelievable to you that a guy can be nice, intelligent and witty and still want to sleep with girls, perhaps the problem lies with you, and not with the boy in question.

That said, some things cut for your reading pleasure:

Around Christmastime, I bought this really cool TAZO teabag holder. As I travel a lot and hate Lipton, it's very handy to have teabags in your bag, but as they are paper they do tend to get banged up. This is the cutest little tin container that holds about four teabags and I love it. It came with a little assortment of six TAZO teas, the descriptions of which can be found here. I have decided that:
--Zen is still my favorite.
--Awake is a nice black tea but not as good as English Breakfast
--Calm is very soothing, much better than plain camomille
--Lotus is also very soothing and much better than plain green tea
--Refresh is a hell of a mint tea--would be very good with chocolate added.
--Wild Orange is really not very good at all. Too orange-y.
I got the best ones. I looked at the other teas, and eh. I mean, green tea with ginger and pear? ew.

That needed to be said, and you said it much more eloquently than I could've.

*giggles* This is rapidly becoming my OTP too. I'm having trouble picturing them with anyone else.

*bustles off to draw Ron and Padma*

dude, I was cleaning out my email the other day and I found this link to a ron/padma you drew but it was broken. Did you take down that other pic? It was shibby!

Also, did you ever scan the S&D chibis you were teasing me with? *looks cute and begs*

You mean this Ron/Padma? (http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Pierian_Springs/vwp?.dir=/&.src=gr&.dnm=ronpadma.jpg&.view=t&.done=http%3a//photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Pierian_Springs/lst%3f%26.dir=/%26.src=gr%26.view=t)

Am working on chibis. Right now they're not so much chibi-ish as incredibly sucky. Blah.

You rock. Totally rock. I think I may have to link to this post unless you have an objection.

I have no objection. However, that pithy comment was actually Cassie's. OTOH, I don't care when she steals my pithy comments, so I'm unconcerned that this one came from her.

You don't think you can tease someone and still believe them? I may tease Simon sometimes, but I have never actually doubted his straightness for one second. If you were *really* questioning someone's honesty, it would be insulting, but if you're not, then I don't see how it really is. Teasing *can* be taken too far, of course, and get annoying, but if a conservative friend makes a rare liberal statement and you jokingly say "Are you *sure* you're Republican?" - is that insulting?

Well, that's what I mean. I think there are people who are really questioning the sexuality of some people. I also think that the teasing has gotten a little out of hand. Simon is fun and easy to tease, but just the general doubting conversations about Josh and Mark were getting me down. Like any other girl, I've been burned by a guy or two that I thought was straight but wasn't. But honestly. Straight men DO exist. It's like the straight boys have to "prove" they're straight, and I'm annoyed by that.

teasing of the straight boys

Agree with what you have to say here - while I don't mind and am in fact having much fun with the counter-teasing, I can see that plenty of guys wouldn't take it so well.

Yes I will talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and then force everyone to fondle my boobies.

The music was great. Did I mention that? Such fun. How I miss you.
