Feb. 6th, 2003 04:56 pmJust something about all this teasing of the straight boys:
I think if someone says, "this is my sexuality" we should BELIEVE THEM. I said a great deal of this in my comments here, but honestly, ladies. If it's really that unbelievable to you that a guy can be nice, intelligent and witty and still want to sleep with girls, perhaps the problem lies with you, and not with the boy in question.
That said, some things cut for your reading pleasure:
Around Christmastime, I bought this really cool TAZO teabag holder. As I travel a lot and hate Lipton, it's very handy to have teabags in your bag, but as they are paper they do tend to get banged up. This is the cutest little tin container that holds about four teabags and I love it. It came with a little assortment of six TAZO teas, the descriptions of which can be found here. I have decided that:
--Zen is still my favorite.
--Awake is a nice black tea but not as good as English Breakfast
--Calm is very soothing, much better than plain camomille
--Lotus is also very soothing and much better than plain green tea
--Refresh is a hell of a mint tea--would be very good with chocolate added.
--Wild Orange is really not very good at all. Too orange-y.
I got the best ones. I looked at the other teas, and eh. I mean, green tea with ginger and pear? ew.

*giggles* This is rapidly becoming my OTP too. I'm having trouble picturing them with anyone else.

Date: 2003-02-06 08:54 pm (UTC)Well, that's what I mean. I think there are people who are really questioning the sexuality of some people. I also think that the teasing has gotten a little out of hand. Simon is fun and easy to tease, but just the general doubting conversations about Josh and Mark were getting me down. Like any other girl, I've been burned by a guy or two that I thought was straight but wasn't. But honestly. Straight men DO exist. It's like the straight boys have to "prove" they're straight, and I'm annoyed by that.
