The commenters at Gawker all think it's either Robert Pattinson or Daniel Radcliffe, with the Brit-magic stuff, or possibly some other Potterite (Rupert?). What do you think?

ETA: mr_cutiepants hopes it isn't the kid from Merlin. I hate to say it, but that feels like a better suggestion, as magic isn't a good clue for a vampire.

I don't think it's Dan because then it would be more of an NYC item than a British item, since he's been here some months. The timing of it, with the Twilight opening and all, suggests RP rather than DR. Also, Dan's been in the spotlight longer.

Though, can you believe that he's going to be on Inside the Actor's Studio tonight? If that show hadn't jumped the shark long ago, I would say this would be the time, but now it's more like a nail in the coffin. What could he possibly be talking about for an hour or so of footage when he's played less than half a dozen roles?

See, that's the problem with looking at Brit blind items in the US; we forget the Brit TV. And regular magic feels like a bad clue for RPatz; he's a vampire, not a wizard.

As I said to kalichan, I don't think it's Radcliffe because then it would be more of a New York item, and if it were true at this point I'd have to think it would be somewhat old news. An actor more recent to the scene makes more sense.

Yeah, I agree... Radcliffe wouldn't be recent enough to really make the news.

Coke is such a sad-making drug. :( I have no idea why "the kids" seem to think it's so awesome. We always gauge that it's time to leave the party when some #%&#$%& busts out the coke... urgh. 70s disco horror!

As for the gay thing, I could see RPatz swinging that way... but then again, what do I know?

I think that if it were your first introduction to drugs, it would be really hard to recognize what it does to you and shake off. It's much more... insidious... than, say, a hallucinogen. Coke makes you feel like normal, only way cooler. Of course, it also turns you into a raging asshole but you don't notice that, and if you're famous it's not like anyone is going to say anything to you about it.

I think RPatz. I saw him on the Tonight Show last week, telling Jay in detail about how he doesn't wash his hair. This was me during the entire interview: o_O That boy's agent needs to reign him in fast or he won't even be able to make the rest of the Twilight films... let alone do anything else.
