Sorry guys. There seriously hasn't been enough fun around here lately!

So I was watching E!News tonight and Ryan said, re Madonna: "I'm going to that concert, judge me or not, dress me up in true blue all over my body because you are my ray of light." Wow, he really just doesn't care anymore, does he?

I also caught up on last night's HIMYM! Okay, so here's what we know: Robin, at least, is living in that apartment in a year, because she's living there for Ted's birthday in the spring. You know, with the goat. And in the TWOP interview Craig Thomas was talking about us meeting Stella's baby daddy over the next two episodes, so whatever eventually happens with Ted and Stella, (1) she's not there a year later drinking scotch (2) he moves in with her when the movers show up because I doubt that the next two episodes cover 10 hours or something. So does Robin hold the apartment, and give up her place in Brooklyn, while she's physically in Japan, or does she not move in until she gets back? Does Barney, who hates change, take over the rent only to give himself a place to crash above the bar?

Can I say how much I adore that Barney is in therapy? Doesn't he seem like the sort that wouldn't be, with all his airs of being "awesome"? I find this encouraging. I also love Robin's absurd refusal to be sentimental, and the intervention about how they're having too many interventions. I love the continuity of the intervention about Barney doing flaming tricks, and Robin yelling at him about it last season. I also love the continuity of the guy who had the proper alcohol-related intervention, and I'll have to go back to his bachelor party episode to see if he was drunk then. OMG and also Barney, showing up with a bottle of Tangueray. ADORE!

I'm so excited for this season!

I loved this episode. I think it's the best of the season so far.

I'm sure Ted and Stella aren't getting married. Ted's not wearing a ring in the 2009 scene, which, granted, could simply be an error, but it seems like they would be particularly careful. (Robin and Lily both have their hair up, for instance, which enables either actress to get a new hairstyle before then.)

Stuart, the alcohol guy, I don't think has been shown to be an alcoholic before. I've been rewatching recently. His wife Claudia does seem to be, or at least drinks a lot in her episodes. But then there's Marshall's bachelor party where Stuart keeps making all the, "Marriage is like a morgue!" jokes and says things aren't good at home.

It was totally Marshall's bachelor party that I was thinking of. Claudia is just really highly strung, which in a way makes them Dexter and Tracy.

I am sure Ted and Stella aren't getting married, but I do think that Ted moves out of the apartment to New Jersey at least for a while.

Did you read Craig's TWOP interview? I'm really looking forward to everything through Nov sweeps.

I enjoyed the TWOP interview -- I thought it was cute when he said that he had been a fan of TWOP, and the forums, prior to HIMYM, and the nifty WTFness that came with reading about HIMYM on the forums and recaps.

Intervention will go down as my favorite episode ever, natch. I love me a good intervention, mmmhmm.

That was a great episode, gotta say. And, I thought the way Robin cuddled up to Barney for the 2009 picture at the end was somewhat telling. Or was that maybe just me?

It totally wasn't just you! I'm trying not to get too shippy about it, but I think it was definitely put in there at least to say "nothing horrible happened."

And also, I don't think Ryan's comment could've been gayer if he sprinkled it with fairy-dust. Awesome :-)
