You know, I think that's just why CNN might want him. Imagine the one-two punch of Ryan and Andy! Tosses every night! I haven't looked at the CNN demos lately but I would think that Andy is making them younger. But ITA with the scheduling—a radio show that starts at 6am and then a tv show that airs live at 6pm PST with E!News inbetween and all the stuff he's producing is a long damn day.

I haven't seen the spoilers for Archie and Syesha, but the Cook boards have been abuzz since yesterday a.m. about Simon picking "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" for Cookie, who apparently has picked "The World I Know" by Collective Soul as his own choice. Dunno what the "producer's choice" was but there's a rumour it's American Woman - I'd like to see a version close to the one Lenny Kravitz did.

BTW I watched a lot of DCook's homecoming stuff yesterday where he visited Kansas City. He impresses me more every week as being not only a gifted singer but a really genuine, nice person. There's a photo online of him hugging his elementary school music teacher that brought a tear to my eyes. I'm sure there are similar stories for Archie and Syesha but, yeah, had to watch the stuff for my favorite.

I was really hoping that Simon would pick for Cook, since he'd said on Larry King that Cook's music was what he personally preferred, and I have to laugh at that song. Simon is so sappy and sentimental; he hates sad songs, he loves ridiculous songs, it's one thing I adore about him. He's really just a softy.

Yeah - I've actually joined the AI boards and am trying to join TWOP but having technical difficulties. And of course I'm in the LJ comm for DC. Just shoot me now, I'm all fangirly and very happy:D

I'm actually thrilled that Simon picked for DCook. It IS a very sappy, sentimental song - and if David does a really good arrangement, there will be a lot of women melted into puddles of goo once he's done singing it :)
