Thanks to everyone for their thoughts in the last post. I appreciate it. Sadly we also had to put down my father's cat on Thursday morning as she had cancer. But Mother still has her cat so she's not alone. I got back from the old homestead yesterday afternoon and hope to be back in the swing of things tomorrow. It's all very surreal but hopefully something good will come of it.
