So much to catch up on, TV-wise

I'm as disappointed and annoyed as anyone else, especially since Mandisa would have rocked the fuck out of Queen. (It seems like people are always gone right before the theme night that they would have ruled.) But Bucky wasn't going anyplace this week, seriously. I know I voted for him, but that was mostly because it was the trend and I couldn't make up my mind, so my bad. We're at the point now where good people are going to start going (barring fuckups I can't see Bucky getting through Queen but he might) because only one person can win. Also? That person won't necessarily be the one with the most skills or talent, but the one that has the most appeal and doesn't fuck up along the way. I reckon Mandisa lost some folks last week with her self-indulgent gospel song, bad timing on her part since she really needed them this week. While I love Elliott, I know that he is one bad song choice/performance away from being gone. I know a pile of you don't like Kellie but she is so top-3 bound that I don't even pay attention to her.

But I will miss our Mandisa. She was awesome and she will turn up again, no doubt about it.

Wow. What an ending! What a wonderful spotlight for Weevil! God, my love for him just grows and grows, I'm telling you. Wallace, after a season and a half of being a nice guy, finally thinks with his dick. Beaver seems to want to forget he even has a dick--what was that about? Poor Mac. And then shippers all around the world sighed happily as Veronica and Logan danced.

I approve of Harold taking responsibility for Lisa going home. He may be a little full of himself sometimes (and this may bring him down a peg or two as Tom was 100% right in what he said; Harold is rigid) but he's not a cocky asshole like some other people. I was sorry to see Lisa go. I will not be sorry to see Manuel go because he is annoying. I was pleased, though, that Dave and Tiffani worked so well together. Go them!

I don't think he's gay because we've already had so much "secret gay teenagers" this season and never so much as a hint about him, so finding that out now would be tiresome. Also I have a strong feeling that plotline will eventually tie into something else, someplace else, so I don't think it's as simple as that.

I do agree. The gay thing would feel hackneyed at this point. Abuse makes sense. What if he is very religious, secretly? er, probably not.

I agree about the gay -- in the beginning of the season I was tinkering with the idea of Beaver being gay, but after the whole gay episode it's doubtful. I'm more inclined towards abuse as well. Following this hypothesis, my feeling is that either Dick or Woody Goodman would be the guilty party. There's the fact that Beaver didn't want to go where Dick was, but if it's Dick, Beaver was awfully cavalier in taking that transvestite revenge. I mean, what I'm saying here is that Dick doesn't totally match up in this theory - Beaver not wanting to do it there because Dick hypothetically abused him makes Beaver seem too afraid of Dick to do the transvestite thing.

Woody Goodman, well, he was touching Logan in a fairly creepy way during the work-out. That Woody Goodman DVD was suspicious. Obviously, it wasn't filmed by the gardener. It makes me feel that Woody either knows who filmed it, or there's something on it that he doesn't want Keith to notice. I rewatched, and all that's on it is a bunch of Little League pictures and Woody talking to his wife (I assume?). Possibly he was talking to his wife about something shady, or there's a Little League implication, which I can only see as one thing.

i was wondering if he is a hermaphrodite!? But yeah, abuse or some other thing totally make sense. Maybe he did end up having sex once but couldn't keep it up or something and is now too embarassed.

So the possibilities are gay, abused, boy bit wounding, erectile disfunction, hermaphroditism, STDs. . .

Well, here's the thing. If it is a medical thing, like, being a hermaphrodite/accident with bagel slicer at age 6, I would guess his big brother would know. And if his big brother knew, we would alllll knoooowwww. So: my guess is probably not actually a medical thing.
