Right, so results, and then some meta.
My favorite part of the results show is the lameass group song they do at the top of the show. I mean, "Love the One You're With"? Who is picking this shit? And the crappy choreography is so beauty pageant. But it's awesome to watch Bucky try to dance, Brenna try to sing dance and pose all at the same time, Ace just be really excited to be there, and Mandisa just diva her shit out. Lots of showcases in this one for the girls. Still don't care much about Melissa though.
So that whole thing he did with the boys, asking them if they thought they were out? That was some seriously mean shit, dude. Ryan has a whole hidden sadistic side, I feel.
There's a running joke on TWOP that Simon and Ryan are like George and Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. They certainly have the banter that skirts around anger, occasionally dipping into brief moments of actual hostility. Whether it's UST or some bizarre parlor game of "Ryan you are so gay come out already" vs. "Old man, you aren't even gay to yourself so don't look at me" only they can know. Anyway, because I think about AI too much and because I AD'd a production of VA Woolf in college, and in the spirit of humiliating myself as much as possible in this journal for your amusement, dear readers, I bring you my own extended thoughts, already suffered through by

I rest my case. You're a little afraid of me now, aren't you?

- Brenna—lowest vote getter of the girls—so needed to go because the posing was getting tiresome even if it did make Ryan laugh. And the song? Yuckier the second time.
- Poor David. He got the lowest votes of the guys but he'll be a better person for this experience though. However you can't copy a copy of a copy without losing something.
- I was never feeling Sway so I'm kind of whatever about his leaving. Which I suppose is really the point.
- I think we all knew Heather was out of there.
- Kevin totally deserved to be in the bottom three, despite what Randy said, and I really am just waiting for him to be gone because seeing him upsets me. He really is just like this kid who is still in that performing for one's parents loop. And it feels like a horrible cosmic joke.
- Kennik didn't, though, but I think that's more because we're getting into the girls that could make it sooner than the boys. Next week is so crucial and there could be unhappy surprises.
- Loving on talent alone: Chris, Elliott, Katherine, Paris, Mandisa, Lisa
- Loving because they just make me happy: Ace, Will
- I don't care, but they'll probably stick around: Melissa, Bucky, Kennik, Ayla, Taylor, Gedeon
- When are you leaving? Kellie, Kevin

- Simon is Martha. Overtly abusive, unpredictable, a little out of control, rude, sometimes out of line.
- Ryan is George. Seemingly nice and a bit trampled, but actually willing to wait and get in a better jab later. Fights dirty when he has to. Younger than Martha. In the play arc terms that means he wins in the end, but we sort of already knew that.
- Paula is Honey. Honey spends most of the play drunk and is aligned with George. Paula seems determined to spend most of the season high and certainly is aligned with Ryan.
- Randy is Nick. I didn't see it at first because Ryan is much more the Nick type physically. But Nick is initially aligned with George until he fails to perform to her standards and then she makes fun of him. But by the end he's saying "My god I think I understand this!"
I rest my case. You're a little afraid of me now, aren't you?
