Well, not a great day
Nov. 11th, 2003 01:43 amFor various reasons I had an absolutely horrible day and therefore didn't get a great deal done, except paying for more icons for this journal, and a paid account for an rpg character of mine, and customizing that LJ a bit. bhanesidhe out and thank goodness, as all three of us had had bad days and we are much the better for having gone out.

hpsmart) which I know we will be making into icons almost immediately. Go fangirl her, right now!!!!!!! And I had sent a package out that was received so I'm happy about that as well.

Nov. 11th, 2003 08:54 pmCleaned kitchen and bathroom, except the floor. Need to finish up the bathroom a bit. Am currently doing something for a friend's birthday. Have a cat sleeping on my shoulder.
rubydebrazier called me out of the blue because she would be in town for a couple of hours so we grabbed dinner. Food was rather odd. Very large, very hot peppers. Good lamb. Fried chunks of pita. Bizarre waiter. However, incredibly good to see Ruby, and that got me out of the house, so go me. (Thanks, Cass, for suggesting that she call me.)

I am going to finish cleaning the bathroom, and then write and chat a bit, and then watch the new Queer Eye while I straighten up the living room. I watched a lot of MTV2 today, as is my wont, and I really like that Jet song that's in the ipod ads. I need to go to the apple music store, man. Cause it's like, legal and stuff, and I have a friend in the music industry so I want to keep him working. (However, that is not a judgment on any of you out there.)
Am still feeling not that great. Actually feeling incredibly lame and uncool. (You know you're in trouble when watching Celine Dion sing "Because You Loved Me" to Joan Lunden on her final Good Morning America show causes you to burst into tears.) While I appreciate anyone who might want to comment to the contrary, you may as well save your breath as this is all in my head anyway so it won't help. But thanks. I'm trying.
However, if you want to bring me something shiny, I am so not stopping you. =^_^=
