Because you're much more on top of these things than I am, I'm guessing you heard about them having to refilm (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6361156/) the ending of Fever Pitch (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0332047/) to include the Sox winning the Series?

I am completely freaked out that they are making this movie again for an American audience. I can't even talk about it intelligently, I just go all ranty and gah. I can't imagine that it will live up to High Fidelity in terms of translating well, particularly since there's already an English film version.
