• I'm not using my Red Sox icon until the game is over because I'm superstitious like that.
  
• I was talking to a old RL friend and found out they're in the Buffy fandom! Writer with an LJ and everything! Small world!
  
• RIP John Peel. You were one of a kind, you shaped the music I listened to as a teenager, and you will be sorely missed.
  
• I'm not doing the paste meme because mine was uninteresting: "I am a Catholic (lapsed)."

Now, see, this is a meme I can get behind! :D Although it does present a problem in that if I'm only allowed to tell you one thing I love about you I'm at a loss as to what to put for that one thing. I mean, there are tons of things I love about you, and being limited to just one makes me indecisive about which on to put down, because some are sillier than others and no one wants to come off as being flip or something! :)) And you know, totally random, but I was thinking tonight while I was at second job that I really need to just do a general shout-out to some of my friends for being absolutely terrific people and for teaching me so much and making me a very happy boo, and here you are with this meme! So, yay! :D *cough* Yes, moving on then!

One thing I love about you: Your steadfast loyalty to your friends. Even when we annoy you, you're still there with a helping hand or sage advice, or even a shoulder to (sometimes virtually) cry on. There's a lot to be said for that. :D

Two things I love about myself: My ability to keep pulling myself up after getting knocked down (even though I find it rather tiresome at times), and (to be shallow) my hair. Although I can't do anything with it as I'm hopeless with hair, I do have nice hair to work with. Now all I need are teh mad styling skillz. ;)

1. I love it that you live your life managing to blend real life and fandom without any problems whatsoever (as far as I know). It's something I aspire to do once I'm grown up. ;)

2. Difficult to find two more without the qualifyers. I really like my nose. It's the only part of me that I consider perfect. I love it that once I have decided to come to terms with something I had trouble to get behind, I can back it all the way and am not embarrassed by it. Ever. E.g. if someone decides to diss fandom - it took me years to get into fandom, but now that I am here, I don't mind if someone looks down on me for being a total geek. They don't know what they're missing, after all, and I am happy where I am.
