I am travelling on business and it is very lonely and I miss everyone. This room is full of mirrors and I have only a Fruits Basket reread and Kare Kano to comfort me.

Also, the sox lost and I watched the game in a sports bar opposite my hotel with my coworkers who are a bunch of yankee fans.

I left my flat Monday morning and will be back Thursday night and I cannot wait to be home.

I use a client to update my lj and this is the first time I've used the web update and I'm not sure what the upset is all about. If you choose "custom" from the security drop down menu, you get the list of your friends filters. Am I the only one who sees this? Am I being a moron as usual?

Also, why more ship fights? I just like what I like. Seriously, it seems like things have fucking got out of hand if you can't even write in your own little fic universe or read pairings that you prefer without feeling like you have to defend yourself all. the. fucking. time.

and now I'm going to bed.

No, the problem is that the custom groups will disappear (and the security will be reverted to public) whenever you try to spell-check, for example, and there is no way back. It's an annoying glitch.

-huggles- I`m sorry to hear it`s a blah sort of traveling thing.

Are there being more ship fights? They seem pretty stupid to me, too. Why should everybody like the same thing or think the same thing about =anything=?

dude, I am so with you.

I don't know what prompted it, but [livejournal.com profile] tea_and_toast had a rant about someone attacking her in some way, and this and that, and it's like, so tiresome. Not her post, but that everyone is so defensive.

Then again, I think that online relationships really are about shared interests, such that someone having the same opinion that you do about something validates you, them, and the opinion, and brings you closer together. And then you get a lot of us vs them nonsense and what you THINK becomes who you ARE. And it's annoying.

Agreed. It would be great if we could get rid of steps three and four. Part of the problem, I'm sure, is that the internet is such a place of definites and absolutes. Everything is black or white, even if you'd never suggest such a stupid thing offline.
