Looking back, looking forward

copperbadge was doing that old unpopular opinions meme, so I had to dig up my stab at it from last November. I have to say, I pretty much am still in on all of it. I'm also happy to say that re #8, I've come a long way, baby.
Today has been an overcast day with a lot of indirect sunlight, and Jonathan Schwartz was playing a lot of late 50s-early 60s jazz on his show today and I just had this prickly feeling about winter coming and summer being over and a vision of my future that I hope is coming.
