Not that I get many of them, but I'm screening anonymous comments until after Ash Wednesday.

I am hoping that the Grammys will get rebroadcast or that someone out there taped them, because I missed most of the performances I wanted to see because CC wanted to watch the L word. Now I am annoyed.

[livejournal.com profile] aegeus, I am happy to report that I will be able to see all the Oscar nominated short films on the 21st and 22nd thanks to MoMA and the Academy. I also want to see The Fog of War, Mystic River, and Something's Gotta Give between now and the ceremony on the 29th.

and, that's about it.

You know, Something's Gotta Give is a cute movie, but I'm sort of surprised it got Diane Keaton the nomination. I mean, would they nominate Meg Ryan for what she did in Sleepless in Seattle? That's really all the role was - that kind of spunky female comedy-romance lead. She was a hoot, but...I don't know. I'd be surprised if any actress couldn't have pulled that off. Hum. I dunno.

What's 'the L word'? *confused*

Sorry you missed the Grammys, love, but I'm sure they'll be rebroadcast. Everything is always rebroadcast.
