Is [livejournal.com profile] tromboneborges called "Shortie"? Well, no. He isn't a kid or a small woman or really very small, yet not tall enough to be called "Shortie" in that ironic way that large men are called "Tiny".

Was it his birthday? Technically it was Friday, but I think that you really get an entire weekend as birthday carry-over, so yes.

Did we party? Oh my yes. By the way, that sublime skirt steak, easily the best steak I have ever eaten, was my entree. Jyee-ah!

Did we drink Bicardi? Well, we did have Mojitos. And apparently some of the party had in their possession a bottle of 151 that was not consumed. But we also drank a great deal of wine with dinner.

Did we give a fuck? Hell no!

Four out of five--I'd say we passed.

I don't find that I have much to add to the account of the festivities of Saturday and Sunday except that it was fun to meet more of Josh's friends. Monday found me packing the kitchen of one miss Emily. Said kitchen fit into three boxes and was packed in about two hours, due more to her small collection of pottery (and almost no glassware) than to my efficiency. For my efforts, I got a lunch so large I also ate it for dinner. =^_^=

Sounds like you guys had a great time! I just got done reading Josh's entry.

OH GOD I HATE PACKING. Sounds like you guys did okay though. And food is a great reward for a job well done. :D

I hadn't realized you'd be here for PoA! This is fanTABulous! I think we should all go out dancing, is what I think.

I hate packing, but I hate unpacking much, MUCH more, as it is packing PLUS straightening up.

Dude, I would LOVE to go dancing. Count me in. Julie and I are just now starting to lay down plans for June. I was looking at airline prices last night and getting all excited! *d0rk*

And what is this "straightening up" you speak of?

How could you not be?

And you're still coming in April, right?

Yes I am. This is really my lucky year - I love NYC so much. Exact dates are 3/31 - 4/4 (Producers tickets for 4/1, but no other definite plans). We're staying at the Waldorf. Is that in a good area to meet at? If not, I'm happy to cab it anywhere :D
