uberlibra light her menorah on the first day of Hannukah; I watched the sun rise and set and rise again on Solstice; and now, here is Christmas and I'm about to go out and see Cold Mountain with Pierre. We saw Girl with a Pearl Earring yesterday and I have to say, I agree completely with Elvis Mitchell's review here.
In addition, Veda has been fairly good lately, distractible with toys enough that she hasn't been attacking me too much. So I feel like that is her Christmas present to me. It means I still haven't wrapped gifts because I don't want to shut her up in the bathroom if she's behaving. Anyway, no rush, since they aren't due until the 30th. I'll just do it some day when Ely is here.
Which is why I'm "bouncy" and the evil pink ladies icon, because in 24 hours,ely709 will be here! For a week! Hurrah!
