My Week, by Clio
Dec. 15th, 2003 08:22 pmSo if you have
evil_erato or
ely709 friended: I did something on Thursday morning and it looks like I did fairly well. But since things may or may not happen, I'd rather not talk about it here.
However, I do have a nice big head cold, if that satisfies.
Took last week off work and did many things. You've heard about
evil_erato's visit; she was here until Monday evening. That night I met up with
ali_wildgoose,
epicyclical, Emily and Erin to eat really good sushi. They went off to see The Last Samurai, and Cassie and I saw Bad Santa, which was shockingly funny. (
nmalfoy,
msscribe,
evil_erato, you must see this film!)
Tuesday I watched bad television and vaguely read something and then Cassie, fleeing workmen, came to stay, but ended up sweating on my sheets. I had to go out very early Wednesday morning, and returned with things to make her feel better.
rubydebrazier came by for dinner and took a getting sicker Cassie home. Thursday I did my thing and then texted people who were nice and was a bit silly with
tromboneborges and then went home and slept, slept, slept.
Friday and Saturday, I didn't even leave the house, but I did finish my cards (which I mailed today) and worked a lot on the never-ending femslash which is really quite long now. Sunday, I shopped with Josh and Cassie and Ali.
Some ephemera:
Veda is getting a bit better, though she sometimes has to spend quality time in the bathroom in order to calm down. I play with her, but it doesn't seem to calm her down at all. If I'm home all day, we play a LOT. I'm not sure about this. I hope she starts to calm down because to be honest, I cannot be playing with her every time I stand up.
For the record, I am glad he was captured, mostly because, now that's over. I don't mean the war, or the occupation, by any means; I mean, the search for him is over. How that will change the resistance, who knows.
I really admire
kay_taylor but I shall decline to explain why for the moment, though I think some of you might be able to guess.

Date: 2003-12-15 05:52 pm (UTC)Well I wish you the best and have my fingers crossed for you.
I am glad he was captured
I haven't been keeping up - mostly because I'm more interested in the RotK premier, than anything else - but I hear he has provided a lot of information on resistance cells. I hope that saves lives.
Sorry to hear you're sick. I seem to have avoided it so far, but am sure that standing outside in line for RotK tomorrow night, will take care of that.
Do I have your addy so I can send you a card? (http://www.livejournal.com/users/debellatrix)
