Because I have proven myself completely incapable of writing funny posts, I will leave it to others:

My weekend according to Holly
My weekend according to Cassie
My weekend according to Josh

You decide.

Disclaimers: At no time did I say that the conversation was boring. Hmph. Also, it was rhubarb chutney, not tamarind, though the chutney does contain tamarind as well as fenugreek. Alas, it is no more, as I polished it off along with the remainder of the meatloaf for my dinner tonight.

However, I did get an ipod. I also bought some dresses with Emily today. My cat tried to climb out the window but I grabbed her. I tried to keep insanity to a minimum, with mixed results.

Did you know that Britney has a new record coming out tomorrow? Because I hadn't heard anything about it, actually.

Chutney sounds delish. Make it yourself?

Congrats on iPod & dresses. No idea about Britney.

Confession time: at first glance, hadn't realized the mike in your icon wasn't another puppet, so was imagining the icon as Holly-Cassie-Josh puppets all looming over you. Cough meds, I tell ya.

How cool is the box it comes in? So cool! "Enjoy"

I am getting more excited about it the closer I am to actually using it (this morning on the walk to work). So far it's just been set up which always makes me anxious, and the ipod seemed to want to be in Japanese, which likely means it really belongs to Ali and is just visiting me. But that is to be expected.

I'm very torn because bud earphones won't stay in my ears, but dude, you have to have the white cord.

Yes, the white cord is a must.

What size iPod?

Japanese? Tell it that you're gaijin, it will start to behave. :)

And box is totally cool.

20. I only have about 300 CDs and I don't want all of them on the ipod, anyway. And somehow spending $500 was just too much, while $400 wasn't. I can't explain that. But with the 10 you don't get the remote control and the dock and all those goodies.

And now I'll have to burn CDs onto my hard drive, move them onto ipod, delete them off hard drive, rinse, repeat. But the bud headphones stayed in my ears during the 15 min walk to the office, so perhaps they will work out after all.

Do you buy that garlic jelly that Cassie mentioned, or do you make it from scratch? *covets*

Garlic Jelly (http://www.bethsfarmkitchen.com/zanys___pickles.html).

The garlic-rosemary is better, though.

Sifl & Olly (http://www.sifl-n-olly.com/) was a show on MTV starring sock puppets. They sang a lot. It sounds dumb, but it was actually very, very funny.

Fake blood, you rock me like the real thing . . .
