Wow, been a while since I updated. Hrm.

Well, I had dinner with Cassie, John, and acadine on Monday night, splendid Mongolian barbecue, must go there again. Tuesday, malachan arrived and Josh and Val came to meet him so the Avocado was stuffed to the gills. STUFFED! Wednesday, there was a lovely lovely birthday dinner for me, that Theo and Holly and Val and the crew came to so that was really, really great. Thursday I stayed in and watched the VMA's, which were brill, and talked to an old RL friend as well as Holly. Friday I hung out with Cyg for a bit (had the day off) and then later went to the Avocado to see Cass, Holly and Cyg, and stayed over. Saturday I came home and wrote, then met Ali and Cyg for PotC and Japanese noodle. And today, we went up to Johnland for outlet shopping, then Josh drove us home. We t00bed around in the park and then at a coffee place and now I'm home again. More running about tomorrow, then work Tuesday, alas!

It's been a truly horrid month all the way around, hasn't it? It's gone for me in 25 minutes. I don't think I've ever been so glad to see the back of a month as this one.

Oh! Two things up at FA, neither new: the H/H motorcycle fic, Steady Rollin' Woman, and the S/D fic I wrote for Veela, Inc, I Want to Hold Your Hand. Read, review, yadda yadda.

Where did the name 'Avocado' come from? Is the place green? Does it smell like an avocado? Does it taste good when mixed with salsa?

The walls of the basement are in fact painted green. Also, "Avocado" is easier to say than "Ali and Cassie's apartment".
