More shipping, and an aerial.
Apr. 24th, 2003 12:59 amThanks for putting up with all the wibbling from this corner of late. I'm sure things will get back to normal soon.
Both
eccentricfemmeand
ely709 have contributed to the cause for D-Gness, and these are really awesome. Can't pick just one:

The line is from the fishing scene in EWFS. Icon by
ely709. I love the whole 70s colouring. So cool.

The line is from an Erykah Badu song that I used as an epigraph for a chapter of EWFS. I love the shading
eccentricfemme did. Sort of looks like a painting. Aesthetic for this one more 60s, especially with the font.
So Gene Tierney has gone along with the other old movie icons. So has Ali's Seamus, but that's only temporary. He will be back very soon, I'm sure. And anyway, Dean is still around.
Also, this is an aerial photo of my parents' house in Maine. The house is at the top of the photo, with a guitar-shaped pond at the front. For a sense of scale, that small house to the right of the fork in the road is a trailer. The line going to the upper right is the dirt road we live on; the line to the upper left isn't a road at all but one of those clearings for the electric lines. So, yeah, we really do live out in the country. Had to clear the land to build the house, after all.
