hp look back: that first summer

jlhHere are a few fics that take place between the end of the war and the end of that first summer. They're all mainly PWPs, but as usual there's a little more to it than that. They're also a little bit of a preview to what will happen in the sequel, or really the bridge fic to the sequel, but more on that tomorrow.
Tea Time: Sirius Black/Remus Lupin, 1300 words, NC-17. Harry and Hermione certainly are the loudest of lovemaking teenagers. Sirius and Remus decide to teach them a lesson in sex etiquette.

This was written for a Veela Famous Last Words challenge—they were "Right . . . how about some tea?"—and I already had a sense of the endlessly-gestating sequel and decided to write Sirius and Remus's reaction to having two teenagers doing nothing but fucking and fighting under their roof. Also proof that Sirius and Remus lend themselves to comedy as well as tragedy.
So Fresh, So Clean: Seamus Finnigan/Dean Thomas, 1500 words, NC-17. That first summer after they left school, Seamus and Dean did quite a bit of experimenting. They were bound to get to this particular sort of kiss eventually.

Written very recently for kiss bingo, where I make rimming a very clean activity. I like the idea of Seamus and Dean, soon to be parted, just sitting around having copious amounts of creative sex in Dean's little flat.
His Favorite Sport: Harry Potter/Hermione Granger, 1000 words, NC-17. It's a hot day and Harry doesn't have a lot to do except ogle his girlfriend in her swimsuit. Well, maybe there is something else he could be doing.

A little more ominous here, seeing from Harry's POV the way that doing nothing but fucking or fighting for an entire summer eventually takes its toll. Not that it's dark; it takes place during a truce. And I love writing Harry and Hermione lusting after each other's bodies, because their connection is so much more than that, that I have room to just have them fucking like bunnies because they turn each other on. Also Harry gets to say, "If you didn't want to have sex you wouldn't have put the boots back on" and Hermione has to agree with that.
