(And I totally agree with the author that the phrase "You just don't get it" needs to die.)

"You just don't get it" is, for me, the rallying cry of the annoying Watchmen fan. Remember how they kept staying that on fandomsecrets that whole time the movie was out? And it's like, I get it. Once upon a time Alan Moore wrote a comic that did something very subversive: it made Richard Nixon the villain of the 20th century. Wow. Deep.
