many colorful questions!

jlhFriends, it's a gray day and I'm feeling indecisive. I'm getting preparations going for color war and thinking about rain boots and ticky boxes, so of course, a poll! With lots of things going on!
First, the color war. There are 133 official Crayola colors, less the original 64 leaves us with 69, which is 5 too many for brackets, so I'm trying to decide how to determine the 5 that get left off. Voting on all of them this early feels impractical, so I thought there'd be a small prelim with the color groups that proved less popular in the previous poll: Browns, Grays, and Fluorescent Yellows. Have any other color groups you think should be included? Agree or disagree with those three? Vote below!
I only want to have the actual poll in one place--today's poll is in two places but that's awkward and people can double vote and all of that. LJ polls can only be voted on by LJ members. DW polls can be voted on by anyone with an Open ID, but LJ people would have to get an open ID if they haven't already. So while technically more people could vote if I put the poll on DW, more people probably will vote if I put it on LJ, since everyone I know on DW has an LJ even if they don't use it. I have two poll questions about that--where to put the poll, and where to have the discussion--but note that wherever the poll is, I'll post on my other journal with a link, so you needn't actually check LJ or DW if you don't want to; just the one will suffice.
Also, I'm buying some Hunter boots--the short ones. The Mainer in me likes a green boot with a navy sock, which is a classic combo. The New Yorker in me likes a black boot with a black sock. And there's something cute about the black boot with a red sock, or the green boot with a yellow sock. I can't make up my mind! Pics below; let me know what you think! (I need a new raincoat, so that's up for grabs. Maybe I'd get a black trench, maybe a yellow or red slicker. I'll let the boots lead that decision.)
Finally, in a previous poll many of you wondered what the whole "your band sucks" thing is about. It's the sarcastic final poll answer used on a music board in Boston that my BFF the rock drummer is on. I like it because there, it's obnoxious, but here, it's kind of surreal. But after all this time, and with the Idol polls retired, should I find a new ticky box answer?
