JIM: Dude, seriously, if I had known you at this age? [shows picture]
BONES: I was nineteen there, so you were thirteen?
JIM: I would have been so into you, you don't even want to know.
BONES: That's mildly disturbing.
JIM: You mean totally romantic! Imagine if we had met when we were younger! I would have had your picture in my locker! You would have been my awesome college boyfriend!
BONES: I would have been in jail for statutory rape, you mean.
JIM: Nah, not you, Bones. You would have insisted on chastity until I reached the age of consent or some shit.
BONES: Damn right I would have. And that's assuming that I would have been attracted to your scrawny skipped-two-grades high school sophomore ass.
JIM: Please. You so would have been, because my brain was already there.
BONES: Okay, you have a point.
JIM: Then I would have aged into the Hotty McHotterson I am now. You would have won the lottery, and I would have the comfort of knowing you loved me for more than my looks.
BONES: But you would have only loved me for mine?
JIM: Bones, did you look at this photo? You're scowling. You're not even twenty and you're already disdainful of the entire universe.
BONES: So it's not just the hair.
JIM: Well, that's a lot of it. And the dimple. But mostly, it's the scowl.
BONES: Good to know.
JIM: So can we play "On Jim's 16th birthday Bones taught him what it means to be a man" tonight?
BONES: Like you weren't precocious even then.
JIM: So "Oh Jim's 16th birthday he finally gets to try out all the things he's been reading about with Bones and it's awesome" instead?
BONES: I think we play that every night, Jim.
JIM: Okay, you have a point.
