Jim, Bones, Ryan and Simon

This post isn't porn so therefore it is, apparently, wank. But hey, someone already attacked me today, out of the blue, for wank from seven years ago that I wasn't even responsible for, so I might as well wank away, right! Besides, all I do anymore is start to write posts and then decide not to post them.

On to the future! Here's the status of my startrekbigbang fic:

56174 / 65000 words

One chapter and a short epilogue to go!

Then it's on to the Ryan/Simon rpf_big_bang fic. That will only be 15,000 words, and only 10,000 have to be done by 3 Sept so I'm very hopeful.

On the topic of Rymon fandom: I feel rather badly that I'm not very good at squeeing. When I was pumping out a lot of fic, back in seasons 6-7, that really wasn't enough to keep the fandom going, and I want to apologize for letting you guys down. I'm really glad that ignaz is around now to do what needs to be done. I'm only sorry that I ended up being country when country wasn't cool, and that I'm not the kind of mad prolific writer that small fandoms need.

But I am hosting the jim_and_bones Daily Captain/Daily Doctor photo squee, so I'm trying to move past my general inability to squee. (You can only see the posts if you're a member, but I'll do a roundup linking to my tumblr later.) I'm trying to be a good fangirl, folks!

It's totally fine not to squee. I've never quite got the hang of it either. And I'm sure no one would mind if you replaced your potential squeeing with, say, lots of meta about Ryan's life decisions.

Yeah, the thing is, I did a lot of that stuff like, four years ago, and I guess I got conditioned in the "no one cares" that I've stopped doing it? I don't know. I need to work out how I feel about it. Which will probably go better when I've finished the STBB and am deep in the Rymon one, though I do have a very good sense of what I'm writing in the Rymon one.
