Glee, "Funk": It's really too bad that Fox decided to switch the order of "Funk" and "Theatricality" because while some earlier episodes didn't have a lot of plot we're coming into the finale and there are loose ends to be tied up and momentum to be built. So setting aside the plot loops, I thought "Loser" was weirdly truncated, but "Good Vibrations" was hilarious. And the finale was lovely, especially Tina shaking her booty in Artie's face. The Sue thing—she does have a tendency to fall for men who give her attention; see the anchorman/swing dancing fiasco. While the reasoning was more than a little heavy-handed, I was excited to see Quinn moving in with Mercedes. I hope there's an onslaught of Q/M fic but I'm not holding my breath.
Next week I'm mostly excited that the final three from the first Top Chef Masters will be at the table. Bayless being a nerd, Chiarello being kind of an ass, Keller being completely adorable and awesome, plus I think I saw Colicchio at that table as well. I hope that get as interesting a final challenge as they did last season.

Justified, "Fathers and Sons."Every week this show makes me so flaily I can't really put anything into words. What are Boyd's motivations? What are Winona's? What kind of trouble is Ava going to cause? Will enforcers from the Miami cartel be part of the epic firefight we'll get next week? Will Bo be able to handle them, and what kind of deal will he make with Arlo? Will we get to see Deputy Marshall Rachel Brooks? How much do we want to see Raylan shooting people again?
Top Chef, "Improvisation."One thing I'm not fond of on Top Chef Masters is the mindless repetition of Top Chef challenges. The improv one was fine (omg the Dean!) but the make the recipe into soup one was silly. The original QF had regular cheftestants interpreting the recipes of other cheftestants who'd made those dishes on the show as part of challenges. The Masters were interpreting recipes carefully worked on by their fellow Masters, and all of them were in the process of putting their own spin on the ingredients. I would rather have seen that play out than get some stupid soup. Also, I'm really sad to see Jonathan go.
