I do NOT like that we don't get to hear Simon talk about all the singers. Why have four judges if we can't hear from each of them? What is wrong with these producers? Nigel, where are you?

OMG Quentin gave me everything I needed, but um, what was with the Crispin Glover haircut? I'm disappointed that so many of them sang crappy rock ballads that I really hate, but I should have known that this would happen. But seriously, would it have killed them to sing even something from a cheesy 80s movie instead of a cheesy 90s movie? And no, Endless Love doesn't count. I'm talking more, "We Don't Need Another Hero" or "Heaven Helps the Man" or hell, even "Maniac".

Allison, "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing." She was having a lot of trouble breathing, wasn't she? That said, I really don't mind the judges slightly overpraised her, because she was first in the lineup and she doesn't have a fanbase.
Anoop, "Everything I Do I Do for You." I hate this song, so there's that, but he did quite well.
Adam, "Born to Be Wild." Wow, that was a remarkably straight version of the song, wasn't it? I think this satisfied my wish for him to sing a metal song because he is so Rob Halford (in more ways than one of course).
Matt, "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?" Matt makes weird choices. Randy was totally right about the bridge and screwing with the melody and all that.
Danny, "Endless Love." I worry that all of his songs sound exactly the same. This will start to be an issue when he's singing more than one song a night.
Kris, "Falling Slowly." See, Randy is really tiresome, because when he gets something in his head about how something should sound and he doesn't hear it, he gets annoyed. Kara was right, and thank god for her.
Lil, "The Rose." This is the kind of thing she should have been doing since the beginning, though she was kind of off key for the whole thing. I didn't see her talk back to Simon because the DVR cut off (again) but I don't really care what she said, to be honest.
