jlhI have to post these for discussion because they are too fucking HI-larious. I got them from Idolator, who got them from Joe's Place, who got them from a regular poster who has a friend who works for the show. So, a very rumored song list for this week's year-you-were-born theme:
Kris - Heaven
Oh, Kris, last week you came so far from your cute-but-a-little-dull box. Don't play my prom theme straight up, I beg of you, but don't just do the dance mix either.
Clarification: Heaven wasn't my prom theme, but the theme of the prom when I was a junior—in my high school the juniors planned the prom so the seniors were free to plan commencement. The theme for my senior prom was, of course, Never Say Goodbye by Bon Jovi.
Lil - Let’s Hear It For the Boy
This could actually be really good. It's a poppy song but it actually rewards a big voice.
Adam - Edge of Seventeen
HAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA FUCK YEAH
Now that I've settled into Adam being my personal entertainment for as long as possible, unto winning, and somehow channelling the spirit of Nick/Norman but in a way that they don't even notice, I'm all over this shit. (Especially if he doesn't change the pronouns.) Shit's gonna be EMOSWEA!

Anoop - Who’s Johnny
Oh, I fear that this will not actually go well. Sometimes Anoop is too ironic for his own good. It might be funny but in a bad way, and if it is, Simon will either eat him for lunch, or just not even bother with critiquing him, which is the kiss of death. Or he'll just give you the "wtf" stare in my icon.
Matt - Part Time Lover
I really hate this song—it's an example of seriously crappy 80s R&B. I hope he reconsiders, or does something with it that works, because if he doesn't then he's counting on Anoop and Scott to suck more so he can stay another week.
Allison - Tears in Heaven
Yeah, this could be good, it might be time for a ballad, but I wish she could do some heavy grunge. You know you want to hear her put down some Alice in Chains.
Danny - Crazy Little Thing Called Love
The HIMYM recapper doesn't like "douche" as an insult so she's taken to calling Ted "the Duke" when he's being douchey. I shall adopt this idea for Danny, because I think he's going to Duke it up to this song, and jump around like a boring moron, and we're all going to have to watch the original gay-tastic video to get the bad taste out of our mouths.
