jlhNow for what I actually wanted to post about today: HIMYM! First, HIMYM's rating increase in season 4 has been huge! It's beaten its nemesis, Dancing with the Stars, four weeks in a row in the A18-49 demo, and was a top 20 show for that demo last week! A lot of those folks who stopped in to sample when Britney was on last spring stuck around, and no wonder.
Kristin Dos Santos at E! has confirmed that Heidi and Spencer from The Hills will be on the show in January, but don't panic until you read how they'll be used.
I think we have our answer about whether Alyson Hannigan's real-life pregnancy will be written into the show. Personally, I'm not too freaked out that it will ruin everything OMG, but unlike the TWOP recapper, I really enjoyed last night's show. It was full of patented Marshall-and-Lily-are-insane-and-perfect-for-each-other-ness, and Ted-and-Robin-are-adorable-but-so-not-perfect-for-each-other-ness, and Barney being, well, Barney. And everyone is affected by tiny socks. Though I could have done without "Cats in the Cradle" Barney.
Did we know before that Robin has a carry permit? Or that she regularly shoots cans off the roof? Could she be more awesome? I adore her, and I'm excited for she and Ted to be roommates.
