Wow, THANKS!
Jan. 2nd, 2003 10:00 pmSo I come back from fun in DC with P and K, and what do I have in my mailbox? A notice that someone bought me a year of LJ!
Now, I had asked C to buy it for me, for my Christmas present, and then design a new journal for me (he's an html whiz, used to do it for a living). But I hadn't gotten around to showing him where to pay. C, not the sort to find things on his own. Asked him and no, it wasn't him. I'm thinking it must be one of my nice readers, because my friends would probably take credit for it.
Now, despite appearances, I tend to float along through life not thinking that I am in people's thoughts unless they are actually interacting with me. Odd, I know, but it's a thing.
So--whoever you are, thank you so much! But please, reveal yourself! I'd like to thank you personally. At this distance I can only say, thanks for the journal, and for reminding me that I do have fans. I have this tendency to forget.
and NOW I will get my finger out of my ass and get C designing . . .
