I love that all Ryan has to say about Simon's new million dollar car is that it doesn't have AC. I feel this says a great deal about the essence of their relationship. I was against the call-in (not that Ryan can't handle it; he hosts a daily a.m. drive radio show after all) but if it's going to keep bringing the Rymon, I'm all about it.
Also, Ryan's stance on the stage totally showed off how well his jacket fit over his ass. I really liked the striped shirt, very subtle. But the incipient faux hawk makes him look like a Top Cheftestant. Stick with the Tin-Tin flip, sweetie, or you won't be able to stay so much sexier than Simon.
I am so pissed off. I can't even deal. I voted for Amanda a bunch of times last night. And I really can't stand Kristy Lee in any way. And Amanda was GREAT. I'm so mad that we won't be able to see her singing anymore. However, I love that they let her sing the whole song for her sing-out. That was pretty awesome. The band clearly loves her. No cookies for anyone—no one called that one.

Date: 2008-03-20 02:42 am (UTC)For the second time in two weeks, I thought that maybe, yeah, the person that went deserved to be in the bottom three, but not by any means eliminated. And I was really looking forward to Amanda on tour, too :(
Well, screw that, definitely not going this year.

Date: 2008-03-20 08:57 am (UTC)Also Michael Johns is an idiot. Two weeks in a row he has refused to see or admit why he sucked. And if he thinks that was a good arrangement or a good song choice, he is actually just a nice, well-spoken guy who sings karaoke really really well.

Date: 2008-03-20 12:46 pm (UTC)On a night like Tuesday, when so many good and popular people looked like they were in trouble (like Brooke and Chikezie) folks make sure to vote for them to "save" them, and forget to vote for singers who they might not vote for every week, but who were really good that particular week. This is why Carly was in the bottom three; this is how Daughtry got voted off during Elvis week when he was really good but Kat wasn't, so people voted to save her because they liked her, and forgot to vote for him; and how Jennifer Hudson got voted off so early. It didn't help that Amanda was on first. But on this show, you either need a big group of really loyal voters, or you need to be so good you cannot be denied.
Amanda might have appealed to people who watch the show but don't vote, and that might have been her undoing, unfortunately. I'm just mad because it means she won't be on the tour.
