Mmmm, turkey
Nov. 27th, 2002 10:41 amI really do love Thanksgiving. I love turkey and stuffing and yams and mashed potatoes and that green bean casserole with the onions and cranberry sauce and gravy. There is a nice 10 1/2 pound turkey sitting in brine in my fridge. Mmmmmm.
But boy howdy, do I love pie. There's a line in Farmer Boy: "When Almanzo began to eat pie, he wished he'd never eaten anything else." Amen to that. Have to make a couple of pies tonight, pumpkin and apple. Mmmm. Pie.
In writing news, the Ron/Padma NC17 is done and sent to RS. Which, by the way, looks GREAT--you guys rock.
The Seamus and Dean christmas cookie (not the NC17 one, the clean one) has been sent to Miss Cora for a look-see.
And (gulp) I sent Chapter 13 and the Epilogue of EWFS to FA last night. Barring any ratings issues, it should be up very shortly, and then I can add my name to the list of completed fics! Go me!
