My computer is back! And working! I'm so excited! Also my building management guarantees me that the elevator will be working by Monday for the move, because that's how much they want to get me out of this rent stabilized apartment.

Anyway, I'll need company while I'm packing (yesterday was quite lonely and therefore, ass) but chatting while packing is impractical so when I saw this meme I thought it might bring in some comments!

Give me a character from any fandom you know I am into and I will tell you:

a. My favorite thing about that character.
b. My least favorite thing about that character.
c. One person I would ship them with in their own 'verse.
d. One crossover ship for them I think would be neat.

a. My favorite thing about Chris is his decency. He's just a stand-up, trustworthy, do the right thing kinda guy, without being a pushover. He clearly sees generosity and goodness as things that make him stronger, not weaker, and I agree.

b. This is really tough! I think I wish he wouldn't fall back on the sweetness so often when he doesn't know what else to do. Clearly he is tough, inside, or he wouldn't even be able to hustle as he does, but his image could use a little bit more of the toughness, too. Like that smile we were talking about earlier? I get it as a strategy but I wish he could keep his glare more often.

c. Blake Lewis.

d. Much as I think it would be amusing to see him with a cougar who might toughen him up, and watch him being a bemused boy toy, I think I'm voting for Betty Suarez from Ugly Betty. I envision a crossover where she interviews him for Mode magazine and he just thinks she's awesome because she's so earnest and she thinks he's great because he's so kind.

a. I love how willing she is to put herself out there. Yes, she always thinks she's right, but she's willing to be wrong on the way to finding the right answer, and that's what's Gryff-like about her.

b. Sometimes she doesn't recognize when an unexpected person has the right answer—she's a bit prejudiced in that way. It also leads to her bossiness.

c. Harry Potter.

d. I would love to see her with a real charmer, someone smart and dangerous, and who could talk her into shit she shouldn't be doing. Maybe Brian Kenney from QaF?

a. He works so hard, he's good at what he does, and he knows his limits and his strengths, and in the middle of all that consummate professionalism, he's still just the tiniest bit vulnerable, despite his attempts not to be.

b. I wish he thought that he could be his own authentic self. I'm not even sure he knows who that is, but I hope he does.

c. Simon Cowell.

d. This is always the toughest question! I think maybe Keith Charles from Six Feet Under because like David Ryan has trouble just trusting in the universe and Keith might help him stop feeling so uptight.

a. He's openly emotional and doesn't see that as a problem.
b. You'd think that after all this time working this job that he wouldn't need so many things explained to him by Grissom. But I feel this is more the fault of the show.
c. Grissom.
d. Veronica Mars, only with them a bit closer in age, after VM has become an FBI agent. She'd respect his intelligence and their strengths are complimentary because Nick trusts too easily and VM doesn't trust at all. She could use a nice but complicated guy.
