Of course I know the words! Sheesh! I tried to buy a ticket off you, remember?

I'll sing "Turn and Run" next time, only I like the Sheryl Crow part better, especially in the second chorus: "surely break you down again."

Well, yes, but In The Lowlands is so obscure that I think hearing that in the middle of the night with no warning surprised me more than if it had been, say, Better Be Home Soon.

You knew what it was though, straight away. That was part of the point, to be all insidery about it. I mean, anyone could have come up with "Weather With You." What fun is that?

Anyway, I don't think of it as obscure but I suppose it is. In my experience, people are either fans and have heard every one of the songs (not that there are that many) or they're like, "Neil who?" But you're right, it isn't on Recurring Dream. Then again, neither is "Recurring Dream" (grr, had to wait til Afterglow to get that, the soundtrack is out of print).

It's the song that's the most fun to sing, though. Feels good in your throat. They sang it when I saw them on tour after Together Alone and of course everyone sang along . . .
