Waking dream

I was walking home from work tonight at around 10--I could have expensed a cab, but there were no cabs because the broadway shows were getting out--and it's been a very long week, and it was cold, and I think I was hallucinating as I walked home, because suddenly I heard Alex's voice, clear as a bell, in my ear.

Alex: You can sing?
Clio: I can sing. Would you like me to sing something for you?
Alex: Some George Michael would be the thing, I think
*sings "Cowboys and Angels" *
Clio: Will that do?
Alex: I was hoping for "Father Figure" actually

Which just goes to show, I have finally gone mad. Stark raving mad. I mean, I don't think Alex would request George Michael.


In other news, I am writing a Christmas Cookie to go with Lisse's pretty picture, because I had too much caffeine at work today. Ah, me.

You know, that's happened to me too but I usually tend to blame the Virgin Mary - too many years in Catholic schools obviously ;)

These things only happen when you're way stressed. Take it easy on yourself this weekend.
