I loved the random cheering for Simon at the start of the show. It was so cute. I feel that Ryan should burn that grey sweater though; that outfit actually made him look weirdly wide. If you're so into putting your hands in your pockets, sweetie, unbutton your jacket.

Man, I miss Freddy. Don't you?
  1. Bucky, "Fat Bottomed Girls." He really was perfectly fine. I mean, I don't really care about Bucky either way, but I doubt he's going anyplace, because by the time the really weak ones were gone, he got lucky with a couple of weeks landing in his sweet spot.
  2. Ace, "We Will Rock You." When I watched this the first time I think my expectations were so low that I thought he did pretty well. On second viewing I'm more with the judges. Not long with us, that Ace, and how odd since he seemed so strong in the semis.
  3. Kellie, "Bohemian Rhapsody." Look, this is a huge song that people love. And while it looks like a real challenge, the song itself carries you along, as long as you completely give in to the drama of it. (No room for ironic distance here.) Kellie totally sold it. However, the eye makeup was pretty horrid.
  4. Chris, "Innuendo." I'm with Simon. Chris was good and he's not going anyplace but damn, what an opportunity missed. Like, there are a billion Queen songs I would have wanted to hear him sing and he sings some random late stage thing that no one really wanted to hear? I mean, seriously, what is up with that? (Also, hello, they never played it live because I don't think they toured that album because Freddy was sick, morons.)
  5. Katharine, "Who Wants to Live Forever." Wow, she looked amazing, she sounded really great, so I'm okay that I wasn't home in time to vote. Good call on the song switch.
  6. Elliott, "Somebody to Love." Elliott was awesome. I hope that everyone else knows how awesome he was.
  7. Taylor, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." Taylor is back. He'll be fine. Simon was an arse.
  8. Paris, "The Show Must Go On." Wow. Paris is amazing.

See, I hated everybody except Chris, Taylor and Paris. Five seconds of that Pickler character and I wanted to pull an Elvis and shoot my television. Raaaa.

What was up with Simon bopping Ryan's hand, there, at the beginning? Srsly.

It's definitely an acquired taste. They are not all ready for radio.

I don't know but it is the kind of shit they pull and they are certainly very physically comfortable with each other.

There's 'physically comfortable' and then there's 'shagging like rabid gibbons under Randy's chair during commercials'.
