Thanks to everyone who participated in the meme the other day! You are all dears.

ely709 reminded me that I forgot to do a Project Runway recap! I'm not putting up another poll because no one voted for Emmett at all, so no one's vote would change. It's sort of sad—even Tim Gunn didn't think that Emmett would make it to the final three. It's also ironic since so many of his other dresses looked like skating outfits anyway. And I don't know what kind of crack Anne Slowey was on with that "tootie" comment. It was dull, sure, but it wasn't vulgar. (On the podcast Tim was so indignant—"I don't think Emmett even understands vulgar!"—it was so cute. That and the hug and the help with skating totally fed the bad bunny.)

Watching Nick fanboy all over Sasha Cohen was definitely one of the highlights, as was watching Tim totally unable to skate. The designs were less than interesting, even Santino's completely ridiculous exploding baboon. I have even more reason to be loathe to count Zulema out, and even less ability to work out where this is going. I look forward to Jay next week but I fear that Santino will not be out there on that runway and that's the showdown everyone would like to see.

I think that's all I have to say. Anyone else?

Tim not being able to skate made me squee so much. I'm not home on Wed nights, so I count on Bravo's monday reshowings to feed my obsession. I was a bit surprised that Zulema's won, only because it seemed a bit risque for Sasha, who tends to go for elegance in her routines.

Hopefully this 8th verbal smackdown will finally get through to Santino that he needs to tone down his designs. Have they not figured out that what Tim says in the workroom will be said on the runway??? At least he realized he cannot mouth off to Michael Kors every time. That man could make his professional life a living hell.

Oh! I forgot the meme! And it looked like so much fun! Flibbertigibbit!

The tootie comment was odd, especially given that our beloved Nick's design also had a bit showing there. OH! And I forgot to say yesterday, I spent the entire episode wanting to shake Santino. Every time he babbled about his costume idea, I wanted to scream, "the phrase is 'like a phoenix rising from the ashes'! Ashes you fucknut! GAH!" It's evil and nitpicky but, damn, it got under my skin!

No, Jeff harped on that himself in the TWOP recap (http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com/story.cgi?show=163&story=8760&page=1&sort=&limit=): This guy's so cutting edge, he can't even wait for the ashes. It needs to be Now, Now, Now! Santino's phoenix does not have time for the ashes—it will rise from the flames.

You are the only person I know who could use the word flibbertigibbit naturally in conversation. MY GOD I HAVE MISSED YOU WOMAN. And you can put your 2¢ into that meme whenever you want!

I think I might like this Jeff person. Because really? If a phoenix found it had come back like that? It would want to burn itself. It wasn't a pheonix suit, it was a turkey costume!

I totally said it out loud as I was typing. It has just enough syllables to be satisfying as it's said and whimsical enough that the folks around you are pretty sure you weren't cursing. ;D

Good! I shall, though not at the moment because I fear that despite having some decaf tea with a smidge of brown sugar and a handful of Reese's Pieces, the brain, she is of the wanting to be shutting down - creatively speaking.
