I love fall, but my god I hate the end of daylight savings. I can't understand why we don't "fall back" at the end of September. We spend more time in daylight savings than in standard time which is rather silly. I hate waking up in the dark; it's disorienting.

Speaking of autumn, the regular baseball season ends this weekend, with the Red Sox in a crucial three game series at Fenway against the Yankees. I'm glad that I'll be able to share my nervousness with ali_wildgoose on Saturday; we might have to step into a sports bar after the museum to check the game. (No worries, calloocallay; it's an afternoon game and will be over well before we see you.) I'm putting up Johnny because I'm still too superstitious to use the other icon before post-season play. If you can, pray for the Sox as the Yankees have PLENTY of people praying for them, trust me.

P and the guy was last weekend, and was in Boston, and was good but not great, so P is interested in keeping guy as a friend but not as a potential partner. He seemed pretty philosophical about that.
