Reasons to be Cheerful
Sep. 29th, 2005 10:15 pm1. Veronica Mars is back! Keith still owns me! I want to have like, 10,000 of his babies!
2. My elevator is finally fucking working again, after taking half of July and all of August and September off. Thanks, I can get my cardio some other way.
3. Banacek is back on my local station. It's a series of mystery TV-movies done in the early 70s (at the same time as McMillan and Wife) starring George "I love it when a plan comes together" Peppard as a freelance insurance investigator who basically finds lost objects. Really big, really pricey lost objects, like, a plane. If you ever wondered what he was doing between Breakfast at Tiffany's and A-Team, this would be your answer. Thing is, the mysteries are really good, tight and interesting, and he has a whole sexy rivalry with a female investigator who works for the insurance company. Despite the plethora of early-70s turtlenecks-with-blazer outfits, he's hot like whoa.
Just went to a birthday drinks thing for this woman I used to work for. Love her. Miss some other folks there. SO don't miss working there.
