jlhIt's hot and humid and I'm kind of over it. Autumn please.
The president is currently yammering at us from NOLA but I'm not even bothering with that because I can't imagine he won't say anything that won't piss. me. off. so as![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
light_music says, "No thank you, George!" In other news, someone give John Roberts some Visine, please, for all our sakes. Also, I love my senator.
Earlier I was just futzing around and using this nice pic of Johnny Damon to comment to someone and I thought, oh, I should check the standings. After all, like any thoughtful but loyal Red Sox fan who wants to hope but also wants to protect their heart, I tend to not check the standings until fairly late in the season. The Sox often lead the division early in the year only to fold in the stretch; I never pay much attention until at least the All Star break. Well, friends, there is only a little over two weeks of regular season play left, and the Red Sox are still leading the AL East! Color me pleased, but not ready to break out the Believe! icon quite yet. That's for post-season.
