Number of candidate flyers received in the last two weeks: 40
Number of phone polls received: 5
Number of automated "please vote for so-and so" calls received in the last week: 30
Number of calls received Monday, the day before the election: 12
Number of calls received Tuesday, the day OF the election: 4
In other words, we just had the primary elections for the local races in New York City (mayor, borough president, public advocate, some other things). I'm really glad this one is mostly over though a little annoyed that we'll have a run-off for the Democratic mayoral candidate. ETA: Wow, no run off, because Weiner just conceded.
Other than this, I'm still adjusting to being at school but I'm definitely loving it. HP even came up in class yesterday, which was definitely surprising.
