Trip entry #7: Monday
Jul. 25th, 2005 10:00 pmToday was the first day that I regretted not having a car of my own while in LA, though it all worked out. We started the morning with some french toast and apples that I made, and then we hung about as usual, and then D drove me into town to meet up with Heidi for lunch at Marmalade Cafe while D shopped for a while. Lunch was fun and I was really glad that Heidi and I connected while still in LA.
Home again for some more downtime, then D dropped me off at Versailles where I met up with some former coworkers for Cuban food. More plantains! They are in our LA office now, so we talked about our former crazy work environment and how happy we all are that we aren't in it anymore, and about their new lives in LA. It was great to hear that they are settling in just fine. I got a ride from one of them back to D's place, D spending the evening with C-the-bf, and had some quiet time watching OnDemand before D came home.
