I am Clio and I am covered in goo

This weekend I took advantage of a highly functional mood and ran many errands and bought necessary things, like new sheets and drug store things and a throw for my couch. (bowdlerized, the magic eraser totally worked! I have two red pillows on the couch once again!) I took a bath tonight while my hair dye worked its magic and now I am covered in moisturizing goo. I will sleep under new, fresh sheets tonight—not, by the way, tight sheets, as I don't care for a made bed.

I am reading a book right now that is making me rather sad, though I can't think why. Unfortunately for me, I came online and immediately read three rather melancholy things, so I think I'll need a nice bit of Julia Quinn to balance me out before I go to sleep.

So while, with the exception of brunch today and great people to chat with on the phone and online Friday night and last night, it wasn't a particularly fun weekend, it was a productive one, and since I've been queen of the fretfuls recently that's probably what I needed anyway.
