Location: Some random old shambles of an old fashioned hotel in the wilds of southern Maine.
Friday
Arrival
Dinner and singing in main room: pizza, beer, Italian sandwiches, strawberry shortcake, and Karaoke featuring 70s am hits.
In the screening room, all con long: A loop of alternating John Hughes and Preston Sturges films
Saturday
Breakfast: Several varieties of silver dollar pancakes with appropriate accoutrement.
First Morning Panel: It's all about the B Story: Love and the Secondary Character
Special attention paid to Nick Carroway, Mervyn Bunter, Liz Imbrie and Seamus Finnigan
Second Morning Panel: Neil Finn, God
heidi8 (M), RL friend S, Eddie Vedder, Sheryl Crow
Lunch: Drive classic convertibles to a picnic on the grounds, with fried chicken, potato salad, veggie sticks, and raspberry rhubarb pie
Afternoon: Napping in the sun, swimming in the pool
Teatime Panel: Clio, why she so hot?

Evening: Formal dinner party, with assigned seating, vast amounts of weirdly specific flatware, and seven or ten courses
Night: Costume ball with dancing on the veranda. Fox trots and waltzes. Theme: Romantic comedies, films noir and romances of the 1930s-1950s.

Brunch: Eggs benedict. Very large bloody marys and mimosas available.
